Easily manage orders from multiple marketplaces in one place. GoOrderSync allows you to update a marketplace order's status, shipping details, tracking information and cancellations. Marketplace order information may be either synced directly with your supported shopping cart platform (see below) or via the GoDataFeed API. 

  How to setup Order Sync for Volusion Store 

 This article will help you setup your Volusion store to sync with your marketplace orders. 

Using your API credentials from your Product Import Source settings

If you already import products from Volusion for your feeds, then you can use those Primary Source settings to connect Order Sync to Volusion. 

1. In your GoDataFeed account, go to the Products tab
2. Go to the Primary Source tab
3. Find and copy the following from Import > Primary Source to Orders > Settings > Store:
   • Base URL
   • Volusion Username
   • API Encrypted Password
4. Go to the Orders > Settings > Store page and choose Volusion
5. Paste the values from the list above and enter Volusion Password which cannot be found in Primary Source settings
   • Note, this is the password used to login to Volusion which is necessary for updating orders as Shipped
6. Save

Configure Order Sync Settings for Volusion from scratch

If you only use GoDataFeed for syncing marketplace orders and do not import products OR if you wish to set up a different API credential for Orders than for Products, then following these steps.

1. In your Volusion admin, go to Inventory > Volusion API
2. Click RUN next to Generic/Products
3. On the next page, click RUN in the top right
4. Find and copy the following from the generated URL
   • Base URL
   • Volusion Username
   • API Encrypted Password
5. Go to the Orders > Settings > Store page and choose Volusion
6. Paste the values from the list above and enter Volusion Password which cannot be found in Primary Source settings
   • Note, this is the password used to login to Volusion which is necessary for updating orders as Shipped
7. Save

Get Shipping Method IDs from your Volusion Admin

In order to complete the Source settings, you will need to complete the shipping methods table. This table tells us which Store Shipping Method to use for a marketplace order when we create it in your store. For example, you get a new order from Amazon and the customer choose Amazon Shipping Service 'Standard', or MFN Standard (merchant fulfillment network). Which Volusion shipping method should be used to create the order in Volusion?

1. In your Volusion admin, go to Settings > Shipping
2. Scroll down to your Free Shipping, Live Rates, Flat Rates, Special Rates
3. Open the desired Shipping Method to see its details
4. At the top of the page, you will see the Name and ID
5. You will use the Name and ID in GoDataFeed
6. In GoDataFeed, go to Orders > Settings
7. Click the name of a marketplace and go to Shipping Methods
8. Copy and paste the name from Volusion into the Shipping Method Name field in GoDataFeed for the corresponding Marketplace Shipping Service
9. Copy and paste the ID number from Volusion into the Shipping Method Value field in GoDataFeed for the corresponding Marketplace Shipping Service
10. Repeat steps 8 & 9 for all of your marketplace shipping methods you offer on the marketplace
11. Save
