Feed filter rules allow you to manage which products you include in a feed.

Facts about feed filter rules

  • You can create feed filter rules in any feed (included in any GDF plan) to include only a subset of your store’s products

  • Filter rules are executed according to their sequence

  • When a rule is executed, products that do not meet the rule conditions are removed from the feed

The order of your filters is important because filters remove products when the rule is executed, meaning the next rule cannot include a product that was already excluded.

How to apply filter rules

  1. In your feed, click to open the 'Filters' page in the left-side menu
  2. Click the "+Create filter rule" button
  3. Name the rule
  4. Select the product source field you want to filter by
  5. Select the desired criteria for the filter from the dropdown menu
  6. Enter the value for the filter logic
  7. Click the blue "Save" button

How to confirm the rules are excluding the correct products

    1. Compile the feed
    2. When the compilation has completed, you can review the feed to confirm products that are intended to be filtered are not included in the feed
    3. You can download the feed file and open the .csv and perform a SKU search to confirm filtered SKUs are not included
