FeedPilot houses suggested optimization rules based on your import source and the feed you're working on. It offers a curated set of rules—some powered by AI—that are designed to help improve your feed’s performance.

You can easily explore, select, and apply these rules to simplify feed management and boost results, all with less manual work.

Where to find FeedPilot

FeedPilot is located in all feeds on two feed setup pages:

  1. the feed 'Filters' page
  2. the feed 'Rules' page

Check out our explainer video and references in this article to see how FeedPilot works.

Feed Filters page

In the Filters page, the FeedPilot button is listed in the Filters list. Click the "FeedPilot" button to launch the modal and view filter rules to exclude products from your feed.

How to navigate the FeedPilot modal (custom rules)

  • Sort through custom rules by Field
Use the dropdown menus at the top left to filter custom rules:
🔍Field lets you narrow down rules based on the feed field you want to optimize (e.g., color, description, gender).
  • Search for filter or custom rules
Use the search bar in the top right to quickly find relevant rules or filters by keyword. Results will update in real time to match your query.
  • Browse All, Suggested, or Automated
Toggle between the tabs to view curated or automated rules tailored to your import source and feed setup.

Custom rules and filter rules marked with a green favorite label are commonly recommended and widely used for improving feed performance.

How to select and add custom rules and filter rules

To apply custom rules or filter rules, simply click the checkbox next to the rules you'd like to apply. You can select one or multiple rules at a time.

Once you’ve made your selections, click the "Add selected rules" button at the bottom right of the modal to proceed. After adding rules, you can review rule settings and adjust parameters if needed.
