Text replacement rules in GoDataFeed allow you to modify feed data by replacing or removing specific text values in product fields. This is useful for cleaning data, ensuring ad compliance, and standardizing formatting before submission to channels like Google Shopping or Meta.

How to Create a Text Replacement Rule

1. In your feed's Rules page, click the blue + button to create a new rule.
2. Name your rule appropriately.
3. Create a custom rule using the following format:
   • SET: [F].[description]
   • TO: [P].[description]
   • WHERE: [P].[description] is not empty
4. Click 0 replacements to open the text replacement editor.

5. Enter the text you want to replace in the Find value field.
6. Enter the value to replace it with in the Replace value field.

   Tip: To remove a value entirely, leave the Replace value field blank.

7. Click the blue checkmark icon to apply the replacement.

8. Click the blue Save button to save the complete rule.
