Import: Magento 1.x SOAP - Magento: import 'disabled' products

While we cannot import disabled products (where status equals 'disabled') from Magento, you can make the product not visible on the front end of your store site, but available for import on the backend (via API): 

  1. Log into Magento
  2. Open the edit page for a desired product
  3. Set Visibility to 'Not Visible'
  4. Set Status to 'Enabled'
