Error message

The server returned a 451 error. Please verify the source location you are trying to access is not restricted, then try again.

What does it mean?

There are countless reasons why it could have thrown the error. The most common cause a server returns a 451 error is when the resource you are trying to access can't be served.

GoDataFeed Troubleshooting Steps

To troubleshoot the issue, first, check the Products Page, then navigate to Primary Source. This page contains many of your credentials please verify that all the credentials are right.

First, make sure that you can access the import source. To verify, you can access the import source. If no credentials are required (username, password, O-auth tokens, etc)  paste the link to the browser's import source. If successful, an automatic download of your import data will occur, or you will see the formatted data in the browser. Otherwise, there is a problem on your end and the data location is missing. To troubleshoot that issue I recommend using a free tool, such as Postman to test your website's data endpoint.

If met with success the following standard solutions could help resolve your problem. The next issue could be you don't have the GoDataFeed servers allowlisted. Essentially allowlisting is enabling our server IP address to access your website's endpoint so we can move your data where you want. Here's a helpful article about the IP addresses you should have allowlisted link!
