Question: Trying to install GoDataFeed using GitHub directions for Magento 2 but I don't see the same inventory settings, how should I proceed?

I'm using Magento 2, and trying to install your app from the provided GitHub directions, but I don't see the same inventory settings. How should I proceed? Can I skip this step?

Answer

We based our documentation off Magento ver. 2.4.6.

Older versions of Magento, and certain instances may vary in the names of the API permissions.

For instance, if you are using version 2.3.4, below you'll find the permissions you'll need to enable.

In case future problems arise, it is also possible that the inventory module is missing. In these cases, we recommend following the instructions here Multi Source Inventory (MSI) settings missing - Magento Forums to install this module.
