Managing your feeds in GoDataFeed just got simpler. Smart Feed Setup gives every compiled feed a permanent home for its setup progress, feed health, and next steps, all in one place under 'Feeds' in the navigation. Whether you run a single feed or an entire portfolio, you now have one page to finish setup, monitor feed health, and get your products live faster. It is written for new and existing GoDataFeed users.

Getting to Smart Feed Setup

1. In the left navigation, click Feeds.
2. Select the feed you want to review. The Smart Feed Setup page loads automatically for that feed.
3. Use the Feed selector at the top of the page to switch between compiled feeds without leaving Smart Feed Setup.

What's on the Smart Feed Setup page

The page is organized into two main areas: the Setup section and the Review section.

Setup section

When your feed first compiled, GoDataFeed automatically configured key parts of your feed. These configurations are always available here to review or refine as your catalog evolves, and each item links directly to its corresponding page in your feed setup.

• Intelligent mappings:Automatically maps your product attributes to the channel's required fields.
• Common filters*:Pre-applied filters that help surface the right products for your channel. If none were set up automatically, you can browse filters to add your own.
• AI categorization:Start AI categorization to automatically assign categories to your products based on your catalog data. If you haven't run this yet, this is your prompt to kick it off.
• FeedPilot rules*:Smart rules generated to improve feed quality and compliance. If none were set up automatically, you can browse rules to find ones relevant to your feed.

* Only present if automated filters or rules were set up for this feed during the initial compile.

Review section

Once your feed has been compiled, the Review section appears with a real-time snapshot of your feed's health and guides you toward the steps that still need attention before your products go live.

• Feed Score:See your overall feed health score alongside a breakdown of healthy products, errors, warnings, and optimization opportunities. Click View Alerts to see a full list of issues, or select Rule Fixes to resolve common problems in bulk.
• Go Live:When your feed is ready to submit, this section guides you to complete any remaining feed settings and initiate submission. It updates dynamically based on your feed's current status.
• Submitted:Once a feed has been submitted, this section provides quick access to your submission history so you can track past activity.

Before your feed goes live

Use Smart Feed Setup as your home base to make sure everything is in order before publishing.

• All required mappings are complete and accurately reflect your product attributes.
• Filters are excluding any products that shouldn't appear on this channel (out of stock, discontinued, etc.).
• AI categorization has been reviewed and any uncategorized products have been addressed.
• FeedPilot rules are active and covering the most common data quality issues.
• Your Feed Score has no critical errors and warnings have been reviewed.
• Feed settings are complete and your channel credentials are connected.

Switching between feeds

If you manage multiple feeds, the Feed selector at the top of the page lets you move between any of your compiled feeds and view each one's Smart Feed Setup independently.

1. Click the Feed selector dropdown at the top of the Smart Feed Setup page.
2. Choose a different feed from the list.
3. The page refreshes with that feed's setup status, health score, and next steps.

Where do I find Smart Feed Setup in GoDataFeed?

Smart Feed Setup lives under Feeds in the left navigation. Click Feeds, then select any compiled feed, and its Smart Feed Setup page loads automatically. It is a permanent page, so you can return to it any time a feed needs attention.

Do I have to configure everything on this page myself?

What is a Feed Score in GoDataFeed?

When does the Review section appear?

The Review section appears once your feed has been compiled. It gives you a real-time snapshot of your feed's health and points you to the steps that still need attention, including going live and, after submission, your submission history.

Can I manage multiple feeds from Smart Feed Setup?

Yes. If you manage more than one feed, use the Feed selector at the top of the page to move between any of your compiled feeds. Each feed has its own Smart Feed Setup page with its own setup status, Feed Score, and next steps.
