This article walks you through how to connect your Walmart Marketplace Seller account to GoDataFeed.
To complete this process, you must have an active Walmart Seller account with admin access.
Overview
GoDataFeed integrates with Walmart to support:
- Product creation
- Inventory updates
- Pricing adjustments
- Order synchronization
Before You Begin
Walmart now uses a secure authorization (OAuth) connection instead of manually creating API keys.
👉 You no longer need to generate or manage API keys.
If you already have a Walmart feed, skip to Step 2
Step 1: Navigate to the Walmart Feed Template
- Go to Feeds in your GoDataFeed dashboard
- Click Add New Feed (if Walmart is not already added)
- Select Walmart V5 US
- Open the newly created Walmart feed
Step 2: Connect Your Walmart Account
- Inside the Walmart feed, open the Walmart Dashboard
- Click Connect
- You will be redirected to Walmart Seller Center
- Log in using your Walmart Seller credentials
Step 3: Authorize GoDataFeed
After logging in, Walmart will ask you to grant permissions.
Approve access for:
- Items
- Inventory
- Pricing
- Shipping
- Fulfillment services
- Orders
Step 4: Connection Complete
After authorization:
- You will be redirected back to GoDataFeed
- Your Walmart account will now be connected
Managing Your Walmart Connection
- Go to Feeds
- Select your Walmart feed
- Open the Walmart Dashboard
From here you can:
- View connection status
- Reconnect if needed
- Disconnect the integration
Submitting Your Feed
Once connected:
- Navigate to your Walmart feed
- Click Submit
After submission:
- Walmart will process your feed
- A processing report will be returned
- Review the report to identify and fix any errors
Important Notes
- API key setup is no longer required
- Connection is handled securely through Walmart authorization
- If your connection expires, simply reconnect from the Walmart Dashboard

Production API Keys for Solution Providers (Delegated Access)
To configure and schedule your feed submission to Walmart US (United States) for walmart.com you first need to generate API keys for GoDataFeed following these steps:
This article will show you how to connect your Walmart marketplace seller account. You must have an active Walmart Seller account with admin access to complete these steps.
Do not share your personal key with GoDataFeed or any other Solution Providers. You should only create new keys for Solution Providers. Learn more about delegated access.
Step 1 Go to Walmart's developer portal and select marketplace
Step 2 Click "Add New Key for Solution Provider"
This is found under the section "Production Keys" on the API Keys page. Please ignore the section that provides you with your personal API keys called "My API Key"
Step 3 Select "GoDataFeed" from the drop-down and next
Step 4 Grant access to the necessary endpoints, as pictured
- Feeds: View Only
- Content: Full Access
- Items: Full Access
- Inventory: Full Access
- Price: Full Access
- Lag Time: Full Access
- Order: Full Access
- Returns: Full Access
- Reports: View Only
Step 5 Copy & Paste the Client ID and Client Secret which you will add into your GoDataFeed account
Step 6 Save the Client ID and Client Secret to your GoDataFeed feed settings or your order sync source settings.
Step 7 Done! Now, you are ready to submit feeds or sync orders with Walmart from GoDataFeed.
You can submit your feed by navigating to Feeds > Select Submit in the upper left. Once the feed completes a submission you will receive a processing report back. You may want to review your processing report for additional details about your feed submission and work on reviewing and correcting the errors.
