The server returned a 404 "Not Found" error. Please make sure the directory you are trying to reach is valid, then try again.
What does it mean?
This code relates to not finding something. Either the path provided is wrong or the specific object name is incorrect or the object is simply not in the location provided. For example, when importing data from a file, the URL provided could be responding with a 404 because the server says there is nothing there. Or then a specific object is being updated by a feed, a server may respond with 404 because the object was not found even though the location was correct.
GoDataFeed Troubleshooting Steps
To troubleshoot the issue in an import, first go to the Products Page, then navigate to Primary Source. This page contains many of your credentials to verify that all the credentials are right.
First make sure that you can access the import source. To verify, you can access the import source. If no credentials are required (username, password, O-auth tokens, etc) paste the link to the browser's import source. If successful, an automatic download of your import data will occur, or you will see the formatted data in the browser. Otherwise, their is a problem on your end the file or data is missing. To troubleshoot that issue I recommend using a free tool, Postman to test your website's data endpoint.
If met with success the following standard solutions could help resolve your problem. The next issue could be you don't have the GoDataFeed servers allowlisted. Essentially allowlisting is enabling our server IP address to access your website's endpoint so we can move your data where you want. Here's a helpful article about the IP addresses you should have allowlisted link!
