Pricing Structure Update

As of June 2018, there has been an update to GoDataFeed's pricing structure.

IMPORTANT

These pricing changes DO NOT affect any customers who had an active paid account at the time of the change on June 18th of 2018.

 

On June 18, 2018, GoDataFeed v.6 was launched which included pricing that has changed from à la carte and bundles to four simple plans. Following the change, any new accounts will be required to select from our new plans.

In this article, we explain how this update affects customers whose accounts were created before June 18, 2018. After reading, if you are still unsure how the change affects you or if you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact our support team.

Why the change?

GoDataFeed’s vision has been to implement big improvements for our customers. For example, in October 2017, we improved our support and help center structure by moving to Zendesk from antiquated internal processes. This billing update was another small but essential piece in reaching that vision for our users.

 

How this update affects accounts created before June 18, 2018  

If you were a customer at the time of the change on June 18, 2018, we have honored both the cost and pricing structure in place at that time including discounts

All accounts created prior to June 18, 2018, will be migrated to the new GoDataFeed v.6 platform in phases as soon as possible. Before your account is migrated, you will not be affected by the new billing/pricing structure. When your account is migrated, each Store is assigned a legacy subscription to honor the previous pricing structure. Any new stores you add to your account thereafter will subscribe to one of the new plans.

 

Frequently Asked Questions 

I’m a consultant or agency using GoDatafeed on clients. How will this change affect me?  

If you had an account at the time of the change on June 18, 2018, then we have honored both the cost and pricing structure in place at that time, including discounts. Your account will be migrated to GoDataFeed v.6 shortly in which pricing still stays the same for all existing stores. Any new stores you add to your account thereafter will subscribe to one of the new plans.

If you create a new account after June 18, 2018, then you will have the new pricing structure and the account will be created in GoDataFeed v.6.

Will you be offering a yearly billing cycle? 

The new billing structure will allow us to offer yearly billing. This may be available in the future but is not currently supported. Please contact us if you wish to pay by check or if you wish to be placed on special invoicing.

Why are you allowing existing paying customers (accounts created before June 18th of 2018) to retain their old pricing? 

We want to be loyal to our current paying customers and feel it would be unfair to change the conditions of pricing for them. They can change to one of the new plans at any time from the billing > Subscriptions page in their account.
