GoDataFeed has 100+ pre-built templates ready for your products to be mapped. These templates are built according to the feed specifications provided by the channel. Add templates to your GoDataFeed store to format your product information for your channels. Submitting your product data to channels in the right format is important for creating successful listings for your products.
Configure a template with your product data and submission schedule to turn it into a feed.
Feed specifications from the channel
Often, channels provided data definitions or specifications for the format in which they accept your product data. For example, here is Google's product feed specifications, which is used by many channels to process your product data.
Some channels have different specifications depending on the file format sent. For example, Amazon allows manual uploads of Inventory File Templates to Seller Central, as well as XML feeds submitted programmatically via Amazon's API. In this case, you may refer to the Inventory File Templates, but the XSDs (XML schema documents) provide the ultimate specification for your Amazon feeds.
Add templates to your store
Feeds can be activated individually for a flat monthly rate or as part of a feed bundle. To learn more about bundled feed plans, please visit our pricing page. To add a template, go to Channels > Templates. Find the channel you advertise or sell on and add the template to your store.
Build a custom template
You may want to build a custom feed in which you determine the column headers and file format. Our software allows you to build your own feed in .csv or .txt format.
Now that you have added a template to your store, we'll discuss how to turn that template into a feed.
