The feeds page shows your feeds, a brief overview of the feed validation, the amount of SKUs in the feed, the last time the feed was submitted, and the submission results.
Feeds page highlights
- Add a feed: Use the Plus button in the top left to add deactivated feed templates. Feeds are not added to your subscription until they are activated which allows you to view the template without being charged. However, you must activate the feed to compile and validate your products.
- Display Sequence: Reorder the sequence of the feeds by clicking on a feed number under this column and selecting the new order
- Feed details: This section includes the feed setup, product validation messages, publish settings and processing reports
- Compile: View how many products have errors or warnings. Skus with warnings are still sent to the channel, while skus with errors are excluded from the feed. Each feed will display the number of errors and warnings as a percentage.
- Submit: See the total number of skus submitted in the feed. Feeds will also show the last action of that feed and the date and time that action took place.
- Search: You can search for specific feeds by typing the feed name into the Search feed names field in the upper right-hand corner of the screen.
- Filter: Additionally, you can filter your view by selecting the All feeds drop-down in the upper right-hand corner of the screen. Filter options include:
- Pending first compilation
- Feed validation errors
- Channel processing errors
- Preview compilation failure
- Sending failure
- Enabled processing
- Disabled processing
Global Rules
Saved rule conditions that may be applied and linked to feed rules. Linked global rules allow you to make changes to the conditions and allow the changes to be applied to the linked rules.
Feed History
View all compilations and submissions for all feeds and download previous submitted feed files.
Adding a channel feed template
To begin setting up and submitting feeds to your desired channels, you must add a feed to your account.
Channel feeds use pre-formatted, optimized, channel-specific feed templates that are designed to take the guesswork out of meeting channel requirements.
To add a common channel feed:
- Go to the Feeds tab from the left navigation
- Click the plus button
- Select Channel Templates
- Find and select the desired feed
- Activate the feed when prompted
- Compile the feed when prompted
Creating a custom feed template
Create a new feed template using your own specifications. With this option, you can build a feed from scratch or import values, settings, and rules from channel-specific feed templates and feeds already being used in your account. To create a new template using a custom feed, follow these steps.
Deactivate or activate a feed
Deactivating a feed prevents it from submitting without losing the feed settings, filters, rules, and so on. This means you can activate your feed at any time without losing any work.
Only active feeds are counted towards your subscription.
To deactivate or activate a feed, go to the Feeds page, use the options button from the right side of the screen to deactivate or activate a feed.
Delete a feed
When you delete a feed, you are removing that template and all mappings, filters, categorization, rules and settings.
To avoid losing feed data, we recommend deactivating a feed -- instead of deleting it -- and reactivating it when your store is ready to use that template. To delete a feed, follow these steps:
- Go to the Feeds tab from the left navigation
- Click the more options drop-down on the right side next to the feed you would like to delete
- If the feed is active, then you must first deactivate it
- Click Delete Feed
