Our integration provides seamless product imports allowing you to manage your product data on Shopify while we automatically retrieve the latest changes on a daily basis.
Alternatively, you may install our app from Shopify App Marketplace
This option is the quickest and simplest way to connect GoDataFeed with your Shopify store.
If you start your trial using the app install method, then your app billing will be through your Shopify billing.
Otherwise, use an existing account or sign up directly at signup.godatafeed.com.
Create a private app for GoDataFeed
Step 1 From your Shopify admin, go to Apps > Manage private apps
Step 2 Click Create new private app
Step 3 Enter 'Private App Name' and 'Contact Email'
You may also add which feeds or orders you are using GoDataFeed for in the name to make it easier to identify the app for your future self, like this "GoDataFeed - Google, Facebook, Amazon, Walmart".
Step 4 Choose Permissions as shown below
If you intend to use our marketplace order sync tool, then be sure to change the 'Orders, transactions and fulfillments' permission to 'Read and write'.
Step 5 Skip 'Storefront API' section
Step 6 Click Save to generate API credentials
Step 7 API Key and Password are now ready
Treat the API key and password like you would any other password since whoever has access to these credentials has API access to the store.
Step 8 In GoDataFeed > Products > Import Source drop-down, select Shopify
Step 9 Enter your store's Base URL, API Key and API Password
Note: Base URL is the admin URL without 'admin', i.e.,
https://mystore.myshopify.com/admin.
Step 10 If you want to import Metafields, collections or unpublished products, then check the box (optional)
