Include Unique SKUs
Provide the unique SKU number you use internally to identify this item. Please keep this SKU number for any updates to this item in future feeds. Shopping.com systems use this SKU number to identify, track and report on this item.
Optimize Titles/Product Names
Product names should be clear and descriptive; shoppers should be able to identify the product just by reading the product name (i.e.Women's super low rise jeans by Tommy Hilfiger). Shopping.com shows the first 100 characters of the product name. The preferred product name structure is: Main brand + Sub-brand, family or product name + Up to 3 key attributes + Generic Product type (i.e. Nike Shox Turboz Running Shoe).
Product descriptions should contain details elaborating on the product name details (i.e. The PowerShot G3 is a combination of high image quality, incredible performance and superior features that satisfies the needs of the most demanding professional or advanced amateur photographer). Do NOT include promotional or unnecessary information as they will reduce search relevance. Shopping.com shows the first 130 characters of the product description, with a maximum description length of 4000 characters.
Include Product Bullet Points
If you're looking to highlight product features, for toys or electronics, for instance, you have the option of including up to five product bullet points, which are short, descriptive statements about the products -- limited to 100 text characters.

UPCs (Universal Product Codes) are necessary if you do not have an MPN for categories that require the MPNs, and UPCs should contain 12 to 14 digits and are found on the product's packaging with the barcode.
Include High Quality Images
Shopping.com recommends providing the item's largest image, a minimum of 150px (images smaller than 150px will be rejected), which will be downloaded from their servers. Remember that consumers love large, high quality images.
Maximize Attributes for Clothing
Recommended attributes for merchandising your apparel or clothing include: Product Type, Brand, Gender, Color and Size. Multiple sizes should be separated with a comma. For shirts or pants, you should include both dimensions (i.e. the neck/sleeve measurement 33 16 or waist/inseam measurements 34 32).

If you have received a Feed Optimization/Findability Report from Shopping.com and are concerned about it, first check your Merchant dashboard with Shopping.com and see if you have any rejected products. If you do, you will want to drill down to find out what the reason for rejection was and find out which products are in the Misc. classification and fix that in your feed setup in the GoDataFeed Account Center. Then open a support ticket with Shopping.com directly to have them review and correct the issues.
If you don t have any rejected products there is no need to be concerned.
